Super Rare and Authentic 1917. This breathtakingly beautiful and shimmering early Art Deco Cluster European-made bright Platinum Ring containing 9 bezel-set OLD EUROPEAN cut Diamonds with a total weight of approximately 1.65cts.
Before the diamonds from South Africa came onto the market, these diamonds rings were worn as signs of wealth, status, and style.
A beautiful bright and shining European-cut diamond, weighing .60carat,I-J color SI3 clarity ( eye clear), accentuated in dimension by virtue of a delicately milgrained bezel-setting, is orbited by 9 smaller bezel-set European-cut diamonds, totaling 1.05ct, G-I color SI1-2 clarity, in this classic low profile ultra-sparkler by way of early-20th-century. Unusually HIGH Quality for that period!
Milgrain detailing throughout and decorative shoulders, featuring ancient Greek Lyre motif add the finishing touches to this early Jazz Age delight.
The ring's top measures 16.70x14.87mm -HUGE but yet very easy to wear.
This Amazing Cluster can be worn as an Engagement ring or as a right hand ring!
Sits just right from the top of the finger (low)-4.35mm.
The bands tappers from 5.85mm to 1.39mm on the bottom.
Die-struck in platinum ( tested)
Finger size is 7 1/2, can be re-sized, the weight is 4.70 grams, Solid.
Traces of hallmarks are obscure.

The ring is in very good antique condition. Overall light wear commensurate with age and use. All diamonds are present and appear original. No signs of damage or repair to the mount. The ring has some Authentic Original Patina, can be polished. Ring has been cleaned and ready to wear.
